"My favourite TV program is Grand designs - I love watching kevin McCloud suavely exploring the beautiful (and sometimes bonkers) homes which people create.
There are only two types of people on Grad Designs - those with money to burn, and those with barely any who build a house regardless. I am definitely one of the latter, but I enjoy thinking about the house I would build.
Well the other day I had my Eureka moment - Houses are big boxes, and so are shipping containers! Why not bolt a few together, clad them inside and out, install the essential amenities, and voila! you got yourself a big lego house!

I was a bit dissapointed when I ran an Internet search that it has been done before. Shipping container houses are being constructed and used all over world. There is even a sizable development in London called "Container City" - how about that for grandeur?

So Stay tuned... my first house might very well look like a goiant lego kit!"
