lowndsy promises to... Amend my emails with an environmental notice

"Printing emails is a bit silly really - the point of sending htem electronically was to leave the old way of doing things behind wasn't it?
I read that the government is adding a short disclaimer to all its emails reading "Please consider your environmental responsibility before printing this e-mail", and have seen a positive reduction in emails being prionted off, both internally and with recipients of the emails.
They hope that the private sector will adopt this strategy too, so who am I to argue? It's a good example of how a very small change can make a positive contribution."
